Shinka (真価), meaning true value and intrinsic quality, this matcha reflects the essence of Yame craftsmanship.
Shinka is a stone-milled, first-harvest matcha made from shade-grown tea leaves cultivated in the misty mountains of Yame, Japan. Renowned for producing some of the country’s most coveted teas, Yame is prized for its intense umami, natural nuttiness, and layered complexity—shaped by mineral-rich volcanic soil, mountain mist, and centuries of refinement.
Shinka is curated for its rare complexity — unfolding like a warm patisserie, with notes of butter croissant, toasted chestnut, and a creamy jasmine finish. It's naturally sweet and creamy, like sipping a velvety matcha ice cream.
