Tea For Friend with Matthew Rygh, photographer and founder of HAVN.

HAVN is a Seattle furniture and art space created for people to connect, collaborate, and find inspiration. Named for the Norwegian word for harbor and haven, it is rooted in the woodworking heritage of Matthew’s grandfather.

Matthew’s photography, beginning with his first book, Sanctuary, returns to the feeling of home, and HAVN is where he builds that feeling in person.

We invited Matthew to experience our Shinka Matcha at HAVN in the U District, weaving it into a pause among well-made, intentionally designed objects.
